Enjoy incredible scenery as you listen to an interesting and informative narration and the relaxing melodies of the Southwest on an aerial journey over fabulous Arizona landscapes to the majestic Grand Canyon. Your journey from the Phoenix/Scottsdale area begins over the communities of Cave Creek and Carefree before reaching the rugged isolation of the Tonto National Forest. Continue on up the Verde Valley and glide over Sedona for fabulous views of the famous Red Rocks and lush Oak Creek Canyon. From Sedona, fly past the beautiful canyons of the Mogollon Rim. Continue past Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks, the erosional byproduct of an extinct volcano marking Arizona's highest point. The barren beauty of the Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation lay below and into the distance as you arrive at the Grand Canyon. Approaching the Canyon rim we continue on for a thirty minute over-flight of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. This flight, along an FAA approved route, explores the grandeur of the East End of the Canyon. Depending on the time of the day and the season, the canyon is a kaleidoscope of changing colors and hues.

Your journey will continue past the towns of Valle, Williams and the historic old mining town of Jerome as you complete this fascinating journey of a lifetime.

On the Deluxe Tour enjoy the same scenic aerial tour as above and then enhance the experience with the addition of a ground tour.  Land at the Grand Canyon Airport for a guided tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. Your tour will include a stop at one of the impressive South Rim overlooks, and the Grand Canyon Historic Village where you may shop for souvenirs or some of the magnificent Native Arts and Crafts, go sightseeing, explore the interesting architecture of the El Tovar and the Hopi House, or take a long walk along the rim of the canyon. Watch for mule deer, squirrels and other wild life and you may even see one of the over 30 California Condor now thriving in the area.
Lunch is included before returning to to the airport to continue your aerial journey back to Phoenix.

For the adventurous at heart, a trip to the Hualapai Reservation on the West Rim of the Grand Canyon will provide the thrill of a lifetime. Your adventure will include:

  • Scenic, narrated, aerial tour over fabulous Arizona landscapes.
  • Ground tour to Eagle Point with an Indian Village showcasing authentic native homes, scheduled Native American Cultural performances and the unique Glass Skywalk
    Guano Point,  for lunch on the rim, a little hiking and spectacular views of the Canyon and the Colorado River a mile below. 

Plus One of the following options:

Perspectives Option – a 10 minute helicopter experience down to the floor of the Canyon, a brief walk to the river’s edge, a 15 minute smooth water pontoon boat ride on the Colorado River, with towering cliffs above you, then 10 minute ride back to the top to rejoin your pilot for the 1.5 hr. ground tour referenced above, before your return flight to Phoenix.

Enjoy interesting narration during your flight over some of the most scenic areas of Arizona and and incredible overflight of Sedona in our high-winged aircraft. 

Landing at the Sedona airport you are greeted by your Jeep Tour guide for an incredible 1.5 hour back--country jeep tour.  Learn about the history and characteristics of the area while enjoying the spectacular views.  Next you will discover the unique shops and restaurants during your 1.5 hour free time at Tlaqueapaque.  At an appointed time, the jeeps will return you to the airport for the scenic flight back to Phoenix.  This tour is a wonderful overview of all the best of Sedona!

This tour encompasses most of Arizona during your scenic flight over the Tonto National Forest; up the Verde Valley, over the beautiful Sedona area, past the San Francisco Peaks and an overflight of the Grand Canyon.  Continue over Marble Canyon, past the beautiful Vermillion Cliffs and historic Lees Ferry before a brief stop in Page on Lake Powell. Leaving Page your flight will encompass the Glen Canyon Dam, Wahweap Marina and the beautiful contrasts between the blue/green waters of Lake Powell and the surrounding desert landscapes. Just before reaching Navajo Mountain, depart the lake to fly over the immense span of Rainbow Bridge, the world’s largest natural stone bridge. After a short trip over the rugged canyon lands of the Utah/Arizona border you will reach the familiar spires, buttes and mesas of Monument Valley. Here you board a four-wheel drive vehicle for an hour and a half tour with the Navajo, through the most dramatic rock formations of the Colorado Plateau.
